Sikkim Cricket Association Invites All Cricket Players of Sikkim for Registration
Sikkim Cricket Association (SICA) invites all the cricket players of Sikkim (Both Men/Women) of all the categories to register themselves with SICA for Season 2019-20, for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) tournaments.
The registration should be done by filling the form available in our website along with the documents such as (For Local Players) Date of Birth Certificate, Address Proof, PAN Card (compulsory for all categories). Documents required for considering a cricketer as a local player on the basis of the employment /education/residential criteria.
- Employment: Employer certificate along with six months’ salary slip (starting from August 2017).
- Education: A bonafide certificate signed by the Principal of the School/College.
- Residential: Passport Copy/Aadhar Card (On the basis of address and date of issue).
“Please note that only players born and brought up in Sikkim and students or employees who are studying or working in Sikkim for more than 2 years are eligible for the registration.”
The players need to contact their respective district body for submission of the forms. The district body will verify the credentials of the players and send the forms for registration to the Central Body. The players need to pay the nominal registration fee of ₹ 100.00 only, along with the form. Please note that strict action will be taken against the individual players if found guilty of tampering with the documents. Only players who have registered with SICA will be allowed to participate in all the upcoming trials. The last date of submission of the forms would be 31st March 2019.
