SCA Attends Annual Curators’ Workshop In Mumbai

Two representatives from Sikkim Cricket Association Karma Namgyal Bhutia and Gopal Prasad attended two day annual curators workshop held at Wankhade Stadium, Mumbai on 5th-6th June 2018 organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Total 60 curators and head groundsman from different state associations were present during the workshop, BCCI Chief Curator Daljit Singh and Zonal curators held sessions in different tropics on pre-season pitch preparation, off-season renovation, wetting, rolling/mowing process, and ground equipment’s.

Special importance was given to new curators of Northeast States. During discussions several ground problems and conditions in North East were raised before BCCI officials and after hearing those issues, BCCI secretary Amitabh Chaudhary assured at all those problems will be taken seriously and possible actions will be taken to solve it as soon as possible.
