SICA Signs Yashpal Singh for Upcoming Season 2019-20

Yashpal Singh, a Delhi born batsman who is playing first-class cricket since 2001/02 signs a contract with SICA for the upcoming season as a professional player at Gangtok today. It is a big sign for SICA. Yashpal made his debut in first-class cricket for Services and have played 15 years for them. In his debut match against Delhi, he scored two half-centuries against an established bowling lineup and in the next match he scored a double century against Punjab and never looked back. He has also represented other teams like Tripura, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Last year he played for Manipur and was one of the leading scorers of season 2018-19.
He has scored 9,085 runs in first-class cricket, 4,448 runs in List A matches and 1,239 runs in T20 matches and also have taken 111 wickets totaling first-class, list A and T20’s. The right-handed middle-order batsman boasted an average of over 50 in both first-class cricket and List A matches.
