SICA Signs Former Rajasthan Skipper “Robin Bist” For The Upcoming Season 2020-21
After getting the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for the upcoming season from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Sikkim Cricket Association has started its activities and getting ready. Thou the dates for the domestic season is awaited and to be released by the BCCI, Sikkim is busy rebuilding its teams and signs former Rajasthan Skipper “Robin Bist” as a guest player for the Ranji Team.
Robin Bist is a right-hand middle-order batsman and an off-break bowler. He was part of Delhi Daredevils squad in the Indian Premier League and also played for India-A, Central Zone, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan Cricket Association President’s XI. Bist was the leading run-scorer of Ranji Trophy 2011–12, where he scored 1,034 runs at an average of 86.16 in 16 innings including four centuries. He has scored over 6,000 runs in first-class cricket with 15 centuries and 34 half-centuries. In List A matches he has over 1,200 runs in his bag with the highest runs of 109 not-out. He is a perfect pick for Sikkim, who can hold the wicket and win matches with his experience.
