SICA Executives Visit BCCI To Resolve Pending Issues
Sikkim Cricket Association’s (SICA) executives visited the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office in Mumbai and had several meetings with the BCCI officials. This visit was mainly to solve the pending issues of the SICA with the BCCI mainly regarding payments of match fess of players and also submit the progress report of the ongoing construction of Mining Cricket Ground as the first phase of the construction of Mining Cricket Ground is about to complete. The first phase includes the construction of Pitches and playing areas, drainage system, side-screens.
During this visit they also met with the directors of HA-KO Group – the BCCI approved the company for ground equipment company and discussed the equipment that will be required for maintenance of Mining Cricket Ground.
The executives will be having a few more meetings with the various personalities of BCCI regarding the ongoing cricketing season, growth of cricket in the state and also on matters relating to the further development of Mining ground. SICA is planning to inaugurate the ground in the month of March 2020 and will be meeting peoples for the same.
