Welcome to Our Association

As the President of Sikkim Cricket Association I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website. We hope that your online tour of the association will be both enjoyable and informative and that you will find what you are looking for in our little corner of cyberspace.

Established in the year 1987 by a passionate and devoted bunch of cricket lovers with the mission to promote, support and upgrade the sport of Cricket in the state of Sikkim, the Association attained the status of a Associate Member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India 1992.

Our aim is to plan and focus on players, staff & motivate them to achieve peak performances as a team by creating a self-sufficient ecosystem within the SCA, its clubs, players and officials. We have just formed a new working group and cricket will be of prime importance and with that the development of Sikkim Cricket. With the support of all members and office bearers at the association hopefully we can provide all the facilities that a cricket association needs.

“My approach to cricket has been reasonably simple: it was about giving everything to the team, it was about playing with dignity and it was about upholding the spirit of the game. I hope I have done some. I have failed at times, but I have never stopped trying. It is why I leave with sadness but also with pride.” - Rahul Dravid
